OpenI18N Certification Test Development subgroup

This subgroup focuses on developing OpenI18N conformance test suites.
The test suites are used for OpenI18N Certification. Of course you can use these test suites to measure your linux system's conformity degree to the specification.

News: OpenI18N 1.3 Level.1 Certification Test Suite is now released officially. (2003/11/19) LSB Internationalized certification 1.3 has started. LSB Internationalized certification 1.2 was withdrawed.

Each test is created based on the OpenI18N globalization specification 1.3.

Test Suites
Now we provides the OpenI18N1.3 level.1 conformance test suites.
Roughly speaking, this test suites consist of 2 parts, i.e. automatic test suite and interactive test suite.
The detail of each test suite are written in the following page.

 Automatic test suite (for level.1 certification)
 Interactive test suite (for level.1 certification)

If you use these test suites for web certification, please do not forget that `journal file' produced by automatic test suite is necessary for that certification.

Web Certification
When you are entry to the web certification, you shall upload a journal file produced by automatic test suite and input the results of interactive test.
How to make that journal file is written in the description of automatic test suites.

Development
OpenI18N 1.3 Level.2 Certification Test Suite is under development. The present state of the development is shown at this page.

The LSB 1.2 Internationalization Certification refers to OpenI18N 1.2
If you would like to check that your linux system passes the OpenI18N 1.2, try test packages for it.
You can get the OpenI18N 1.2 testsuite here. But it would not be updated anymore.
