Subgroup Name:

        Li18nux 2000 SPEC Certification

Scope:

        This subgroup focuses on exploring the concepts of certification
        for Li18nux 2000 Specification, making certification methods and
        process based on concepts, and perform the certification
        process for various Linux computing environments.

Goal:

        Grant Li18nux 2000 SPEC Certification to various Linux
        distributions by performing the certification process, in order to
        promote a common internationalized computing environment on
        Linux.

Background:

        Li18nux System Architecture subgroup is developing the Li18nux
        2000 Specification. Once it is completed, we need to provide
        some concrete measures for checking conformance of the
        specification, and grant the certification to Linux computing
        environments or distributions.
